Dalkey Island Race Rescheduled to Saturday 22nd August

I’m delighted that the Dalkey Island Race has been rescheduled for Saturday the 22nd of August, to run during normal Club Sailing times. Here’s a brief report on last Saturday’s attempts to get a race underway.

Reefing Made Simple!?

Robin has produced an excellent handout on reefing, when to, how to and why. It’s available from the desk in the club corner during Thursday Evening a Saturday afternoon sails. We’ll be doing a short practical exercise for those who wish to opt in on Saturday the 29th of August.

INSC Film Star

On Saturday the 19th of September we will be having a film crew join us on the water to shoot a documentary in which club member Leonard McKay will be staring. More information to follow, but it would be great to get the numbers out for that Saturday!
