Dear Club Member,

The good news is that the worst of the weather seems to have passed us today, however, there’s still quite a windy week ahead. The weather on Saturday, while windy looks manageable, so unless you hear otherwise you can assume we’re heading out!

Offshore Racing in 2016 – Learn from the Experts

The Irish National Sailing School has launched its programme of training aboard Lynx for the forthcoming year, with details on Practical Yachting Programmes from Competent Crew to Yachtmaster available here. There’s also a comprehensive training programme taking place aboard Lynx for the Round Ireland Yacht Race which will see sailors join Team INSS.ie crew in an offshore racing classic. There’s some information available here and Kenneth Rumball will be on hand over the next few weeks to chat about this and other race training programmes.

Contact Details

We’re continuing with updating the membership database. There are blank forms to update your contact details available on the club desk and we would appreciate if you would be able to take the time to fill one in.

That’s all for this week, hoping to get on the water this Saturday.
