Dear Club Member,
Firstly, a big thank you to everyone letting us know in advance if you’re sailing on Saturday. Over half of club members are indicating that they will be coming down, which is a huge help for planning. We’ll shortly have a more sophisticated system in place but the current email to club@insc.ie, or a call to 01 2844195 is sufficient for the moment.
If you were out last Saturday you’ll certainly agree that the weather was more usual for this time of year than previous weeks. We had a great sail in 25 knots of breeze, mostly around the harbour but some squibs did venture out into the bay for a few minutes.
Last Saturday was Sabine and Frank’s last sail with us before moving to Germany. We wish them all the best and have included a few photos of them and fellow club members here. Please email me if you would like a copy of the originals.
INSC Committee – Minutes of Meetings and Club Development Plan
The INSC committee met on Tuesday the 19th of January. The committee believes in absolute transparency, so the minutes for the meeting have been posted on the club notice board. Discussed on the 19th was the 2016 INSC Development Plan. It sets out a series of objectives for the club over the course of the next year. Copies of the development plan are available from the club manager on Saturday, and an abridged version will be presented to club members prior to sailing in the next few weeks.

Request from a Fellow Club Member
Your fellow club member Robin Jones has asked that I share the following request which is available here.
New Sections on Club Website
There’s now some handy sections added to the club website, under the section Sailor’s Information. Do check it out, and if there’s anything you would find useful please ask. See www.insc.ie.
That’s all for now. Just finally I’ve included the INSS Adult Training Schedule for 2016 in case there’s any club members looking to upskill this year. Hope to see you this Saturday.
