Dear Club Member,
Apologies in advance for a rather long newsletter this week, but there’s loads to discuss. Firstly, we are aware of the forecast for Saturday but we’ll try to get out. Do check your email before heading down just in case it’s looking too bad first thing in the morning.
Mince Pies, Mulled Wine and Annual Prize giving
On the Saturday the 18th of December we’ll have mince pies and mulled wine after the usual club sailing instead of the normal finger food. We’ll also take this opportunity to hand out the trophies for the various events this year. So firstly, if you won a trophy last year please drop it in over the next few weeks, and secondly, suggestions for the most improved sailor award are warmly welcomed.
Powerboat Practise
For club members who hold a level 2 certificate there is the possibility to practise manoeuvres on Saturday mornings from 11am-1pm. The cost of this will be one standard club voucher, inclusive of fuel. Members may book these sessions from next Saturday morning onwards by emailing club@insc.ie. Sessions will take place in the Yaks for the time being.
