We’ve a busy week of sailing in store, and with excellent weather forecast it will be the perfect time to get onto the water!
Thursday & Saturday Sailing
Thursday from 6.30pm and Saturday from 1.45pm Sailings are going ahead as planned this week. We’ve excellent weather forecast for Thursday, 12-15 knots and a balmy 13 degrees. Saturday is a bit windier, with 20+ knots forecast but it is due to decrease in the evening so we’ll see what it does closer to the day.
Greystones Cruise – This Sunday 7th June
The Greystones Cruise takes place this Sunday the 7th of June. Meeting at the Clubhouse at 10.30am we’ll set sail as soon as possible to catch the tide. Huge credit to our new club sailing events department headed by Robin, his efforts mean we have 19 club members already signed up to sail this Sunday.
There’s a few places left, and we’re currently planning that Lynx (the new yacht) will go along as well to introduce club members to the boat. The team in the office are looking to get all the administrative preparations complete and would love for you to get in touch to confirm your attendance. Emma is on 01 2844195, or bookings@inss.ie. The cost for the event is €64.
Irish National Sailing School and Irish National Sailing Club Joint Open Day
As many of you may know Muriel has been on the ISA board and her crowning achievement is the new ISA Try Sailing Event. The INSS and INSC are to run a joint event on Sunday the 21st of June. Club members who have some time to spare on Sunday afternoon and would like to extort the virtues of sailing to the unconverted are very welcome to lend a hand.
