1 1720 Dalkey

Recent Course Graduates

Newly qualified sailors are welcome to join the INSC. In fact the INSC was set up by course graduates and staff of the Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School to facilitate continued sailing development in a relaxed and friendly environment.

On your first day down, you'll be introduced to fellow keelboat or dinghy members (depending on what course you took). Don't worry about coming down alone, there's always a member looking for a sailing partner.

Keelboat sailing members can chose between the 1720 Sportsyacht and Squib Keelboat. In each case there'll be an experienced skipper aboard who can guide you through the twists and turns of each boat.

Dinghy sailors will be introduced to fellow dinghy sailors and head across to the boat yard to rig. You'll be met by one of the club staff who'll stay close and make sure that any assistance you need, either on or off the water, is met.

The club sails on Saturday afternoons from 2-5pm, with the clubhouse open from 1.30pm, Sunday mornings from 10.15am-1.15pm (March-October) and Wednesday evenings from 6.30-9.30pm (May-August). Pre-booking is essential, so please email club@insc.ie or call 01 2844195 to let us know you’re coming down.
