Club Dinghy

Own Boat Sailors

While there's no need to own a boat to sail with the INSC we are also very happy to accommodate own boat sailors. Currently, we are able to accommodate sailors with their own dinghies during our structured club sailing sessions taking place on Saturday afternoons year round and Thursday evenings during the Summer months. Members with their own boat can avail of reduced session rates, and currently in the club we've a number of Lasers, Laser IIs, RS400s and even two RS600s out sailing alongside club dinghies.

Own boat members particularly highlight the benefit of having the INSC Support RIBs, crewed by Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School instructors on hand to offer coaching, tips, hints and advice, as well as being safe in the knowledge that they're there to help if required.

The club unfortunately has no boat park, however, currently most members store their boats in Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company's Public Boat Yard, access is controlled by electronic fob and is where the club dinghies are stored.

Please get in touch with Glyn Williams, the Club Manager to discuss joining us with your own dinghy. Glyn's contactable on the club email, club@insc.ie.
