The ‘Race for the Rock’ quite literally as the prize for this race contested between Picos, Lasers, Squibs and 1720s is a Granite Rock mounted on a plinth.

With a race briefing at 1.30pm and a scheduled start time of 2pm, participants will start from the training area inside the harbour and from there, the only mark on the course is Dalkey Island itself.

Participants must round the Island to starboard aiming back for the finish line being the Harbour mouth.

Prizes to be awarded on the PY handicap system in the club room afterwards/

Non members are welcome to join us for the race. The cost is €37.
