Good to know, so you won't miss the boat

 - J80s: Please be at the school 15min before your sail for a briefing

 - Dinghies: Please be at the school 30min before your sail to get changed and listen to the briefing

If you are late the whole group has to wait and that's not fair on anyone, so please be at the school 15-30min before your sail. If you miss the departure, the safety boat will not have time to come back to get you.

CLUB CRUISE
Embark on a skippered J80 cruise that offers a comprehensive introduction to boat rigging, points of sail, sail setting, tacking, gybing, and various other essential techniques.

IMPROVERS CLINIC
Elevate your sailing expertise with a dynamic skippered J80 session designed for experienced sailors seeking to refine their skill set using advanced techniques. A solid foundation in basic sailing skills is highly recommended.

PEER DRIVEN
Experience the thrill of sailing as part of a team of up to 5
club members, each taking turns to helm. Prerequisites include specific sailor experience and skills. Please join the intentional waitlist for this session until a member of the committee has passed you on your pre-requisite step.

Dinghies - Changing rooms and briefing

Changing rooms for dinghy sailers are open in the school from 1pm, followed by a briefing at 1.15pm on the deck for all sailors (dinghies and keelboats). Then dinghy sailors will walk over to the slipway and keelboat sailors will be brought to the moorings.

Cancellation policy

Sessions can be booked up to 24h before the sail. You can change or cancel your booking until 48h before the sail under 'My bookings' and receive a full refund. If you cancel within 48h of the sail, we unfortunately, can't give a refund. However, you can pass your place on to someone else (please use the WhatsApp group to find someone) and then email us to let us know. After sailing catch-up - All welcome!

After sailing in the afternoon, the club meets for tea and coffee - courtesy of Kenny's Kafe - and a chat on the deck/rooftop at the sailing school. It's a great way for new and seasoned sailors, new club members, and students to meet. Great opportunity to find out more about the sailing club, and for sharing sailing stories and adventures. We usually stay for about half an hour and often continue in a nearby pub - so please come along and join us!
